Hi there, AI. I know you're involved in everything I write, mostly because I use Siri for nonmedical writing, and that means that natural language processing has long been playing a role in the creation of the Substack. And I'm appreciative of that. Don't get me wrong. I even checked my grammar with you using Grammarly.

Here's the problem: I am really into regulation. I'm really into writing about regulation. I really like to advocate for changes in regulations.

The public health emergency has ended, and that is awesome. Except, it's not awesome if you need to prescribe controlled substances or plausibly need to interact with anybody who might need to get prescribed controlled substances. If you think hearing about ADHD is annoying now, imagine all of the people who can’t stop talking about it off their helpful medication —abruptly.
