The Frontier Psychiatrists newsletter, every once in a while, tries to do something useful for the audience; today, that's a video that walks everybody through a joint exam done by video. Usually, patients are not provided with education by doctors for doctors, but that's not the vibe here at this newsletter.
This video teaches everybody a little about autoimmune joint disease, which can include psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other conditions. But most mostly, it's walking anybody through how to examine the hands to figure out if there's inflammation in the joints when you have to do the visit by telehealth.
I've had to explain this enough times that it made sense to just make the video, so I can send the video instead of just having to do it over and over again.
