Steroid-induced psychosis from prednisone should certainly have a card. I knew someone who changed her phone number four times and claimed someone broke into the house for the sole purpose of "stealing" her Bible with the intention of changing the text. 🥲🙃
Just seen this article and it’s nice to see someone from the medical profession saying something so compassionate. I have people who have ridiculed, humiliated and refused to forgive me for things I have said and done when I have been ill. I’ve only had two major episodes of psychosis in my life and have lived a normal life for the rest of the time, but despite this, some people have chosen to stigmatise me for life. I’m tired of being the one who is expected to apologise and make amends to society after experiencing real traumatic experiences. I think that attitudes towards severe mental illness are the last frontier of ignorance in society today and I take heart whenever I find someone in a position of influence raising the issue 👍
These are beautiful touching cards you have posted here. I think no one could put more thought into it or create a more beautiful expression in such cards as you would.
If you feel guilty over a pattern of self-destructive behavior it is really difficult to subsume your life’s behavior in the sending of a “sorry”. The thought is so simple, though, why not try it? I can’t ignore the potential humor however.
It would make it a lot easier for people who went through that to just pick up a card then have to figure out how to say it themselves, like they're the first person on earth who's ever had to make that kind of apology.
Also, your writing skills are amazing. I can’t get enough of reading the things you write, truly.
Please share with the world.

Sorry prednisone made me crazy.
Your idea is both hilarious and much needed. I sometimes make collages and turn them into cards. This is some fine inspiration.
Onward to inspired humanism

Heartened to hear this feedback. Thank you, and I'm sorry and not surprised to hear it.

The point is this is often not even remotely the fault or under the control of the person, especially first episode.
Then send the card postage due

Such a beautiful idea truly…
Please feel free to share it with everyone you know, maybe it'll get to somebody at Hallmark and they will run with it.
I will share it
