Rapid Acting Mental Health Treatment: Los Angeles 2025

I am so excited to announce the next live-action newsletter event!

Years back, I had the pleasure of attending “live-action” versions of Radiolab and Planet Money here in Brooklyn. On-stage podcasts, particularly those about science and economics, are very close to peak-nerdy entertainment. However, I dare postulate that live-action newsletters might be even closer to the summit of Mt. Nerd. Here at The Frontier Psychiatrists, we have a recurring live event called “Rapid Acting Mental Health Treatment.” It was co-created with my friend Grady Hannah—a ride-or-die friend if ever there was one!

As of now, there are two of these events per year—one held alongside JPM Health in San Francisco and the other following the location of the American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting. We’ve had three events thus far, and the fourth is inbound. I dare say it’s got the most exciting lineup to date.

The next is May 18th, 2025, in Los Angeles.
