This is my debut post as a “frontier” psychiatrist and I’m going to write about the various costs that may befall a person with severe depression. I recently read a cost-effectiveness analysis that did good math on a fake scenario. If you’ve been reading this newsletter, you know that psychiatry doesn’t always follow evidence-based guidelines.
