In yesterday’s update, your author reported, in good faith, on the joyous celebrations witnessed at a family gathering. I missed a crucial element, and it would be misleading to gloss over the following:

My dear friend Kelly Fiore M.D., pictured above, I have known since I was 18 She is featured in two of my podcast episodes!

And…this one…

However, my characterization of the celebration as having a causal relationship was inaccurate. It turns out, the family gathering I had been invited to was a wedding. It was a wedding between a Psychiatrist, and former supervisee of Dr. Fiore, and his new bride:
