Drones Over Brooklyn
This was not on my dance card for 2024.
So, I'm at home, eating some Trader Joe's, like you do in North Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and suddenly we have these interlopers. If you've been reading about drones, and wondering what they look like, this is what they look like when they're hanging out over the east river, here in New York.
And that's just a photograph, if only there was a video. OK, here are some videos.
I asked my son what was going on, and he says, well, it's some sort of shenanigans.
In this context, I think my son is correct. We're not sure who the shenanigans belong to, or what the intention of the shenanigans are, but these are absolutely shenanigans in the sky, and that's somewhat unsettling.
Look forward to figuring out what the shenanigans are, as I'm sure do we all. But the shenanigans have begun.
My son is asking what's going to happen. I think a lot of people are asking what's going to happen. And none of us know, that's the actual answer.
Radical acceptance is the only option I have, I mean I could run away, we all could, but to where, and to do what?
I can tell you that I've been thinking a lot about how I spend my time, and if it makes sense, if it were all to end tomorrow?
I don't know that I'd spend as much time on maintenance of certification, and I might spend more time telling you all:

And by the way, I live in the desert in Southern California and there are military bases and aerospace facilities in close proximity. We have had drones in the sky for years. If you call the police department these days about it, they won’t have a report ready for you about the nature of it
But I remember before the drones were noticeable that there was a communication put out that there would be an eye in the sky coming about for security reasons to protect all of us. There are probably many reasons why they wouldn’t want the general public to know about top secret actions put in place to protect us all. But I believe this is what the drones are about and that there’s nothing to worry about… if there were something to be worried about, something would be done about it. And think we should be comforted that there is an eye in the sky, keeping watch over us all. 🙏💕🌸😊
