We've made the difficult decision to gradually wind down Hope for A Better Life in February 2025 as the program hasn’t caught on as we’d—ironically—hoped. We are grateful for the humans who have participated in life and its vicissitudes, hoping, now in vain, for it to get a little better. We remain committed to experimenting and testing new ideas to deliver unique and delightful experiences for those damned to labor and toil.

As we bring the program to a close, we want to give both the tortured and their tormentors the opportunity to finish lives they have started. Between now and December 4th, the miserable will be able to continue to add new travails to their existing lives, however, we will no longer accept new hope or dreams. Starting December 4th, the living will no longer be able to add new hope to their day, and their tormentors will no longer be able to sell them on new hopes.
